Upper front teeth stick out
If your upper jaw is too big or your lower jaw too small, the upper front teeth will stick out in front of your lowers. At age ten, this patient had a big overbite with the top teeth protruding well beyond the bottom teeth. She had two parts to her treatment. Special orthopedic jaw appliances helped her jaws grow more harmoniously while braces aligned her teeth and bite. Fortunately we saw her early enough so that at age thirteen, she was proudly displaying her new smile.
